Sailing at BSYC

Our season runs from October to April and racing takes place at weekends and occasional mid week evenings.  Members sail a variety of senior and junior classes and an on-going Club Championship and various Trophy races and State ‘titles’ take place every Saturday.  Whether competitive or social, we believe in friendly sailing!

As BSYC is located on the beach, we have excellent access to the water either at the Club or directly north of us at a public launching point.

Our on-water management includes race officers, safety boats and Bridge or race control tower.  On land, members enjoy changing and showering facilities, a boat wash down area, indoor boat storage and tractor launching assistance.
