Learn To Sail

We run Yachting Australia Basic Skills (Learn To Sail) courses throughout the season and the 13 hour program includes rigging, skippering and crewing, capsizing, person overboard and all appropriate safety knowledge. 

As well as our calendered courses we deliver courses to private groups either at the weekend or weekday evenings.  For further information please contact the Manager on 8296 7935. 

Our bar serves coffee and other drinks from 9am on Saturday mornings and snacks are also available as are places to sit and watch or read the newspaper!  Our bar is open from 4.30pm to 7.30pm offering a welcome beer after a fun evening's sailing.

We have ample parking and our facilities include male and female changing rooms.

Junior Learn to Sail (under 16)

Post Course Follow Up

Once you’ve completed your course we don’t leave you high and dry, unless you want to.  Hopefully you’ll have taken up our membership offer for the remainder of the season so we’ll be advising you on the sort of boat you should be gaining more experience in and helping to find you a sail on the boats, particularly on Saturday afternoons.

We’ll also be holding a number of beginners sailing/racing days held on some Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons during the season and we’ll be getting away from traditional starts and courses.
